Meet Your Professor
Attorney Andrew Esquire is a licensed Florida attorney with over a decade of legal experience practicing real estate and corporate law, both in a law firm and as corporate counsel. In addition to this legal experience, Andrew has four years experience in local government dealing with land use, zoning and commercial real estate issues. He has dealt with all stages of the real estate process, from start to finish for both commercial and residential deals, and financed over $1.4 billion in infrastructure in Florida through use of special districts.
Andrew works remotely for various corporate clients, in both consulting and legal roles, from Seoul, South Korea. He is the host of the YouTube channel “Legal Mindset”, where he blends humor and education to advocate for freedom, personal liberty and American constitutional principles. In his spare time, he enjoys skeet shooting and is a PADI licensed scuba diver.

We’ll cover the most common types of business crimes that result in real jail time, whether state or federal. We’ll cover how to protect yourself from potential criminal culpability, including avoiding issues with criminal acts of employees and contractors.
Uncle Sam: Government Regulation
Whether state, local or federal, the government is often the biggest road block for your business. We’ll discuss the most common government regulatory schemes that crush business and how best to avoid Uncle Sam’s boot.
#Metoo: Sexual Harrassment & Gender Based Claims
The #MeToo era is far from over and in a world where no one is sure of anyone’s “gender”, there is massive risk for sexual harassment and other gender based claims. This module will explain the basis for these claims and how to best protect against them.

We’ll discuss the various courtroom implemented solutions for the most common business problems. This idea will give you an idea of what the court can and cannot do and what to expect if your business wins a lawsuit.
Selling Out: Mergers and Acquisitions
Whether as the result of wild success or complete failure, many businesses reach the point where they are either bought out or want to consider buying out another business. This module will walk through major considerations and risks during a merger or acquisition.

Is this the same as a Business Law course taught in law school?
This Course was taught in the same manner as experienced by Dean Andrew Branca and Provost Steven Gosney when they took the subject in their first years of law school, but with an extra emphasis on our rights and liberty within the law. Like those courses, this one requires a final exam be passed for successful completion (certification). This course is not accredited by any academic organization.
when is the course?
Classes occur every Monday starting September 11 at 7PM Eastern. A recording of each module will be provided to you to follow along, as well as homework and other interactive work to ensure your learning is maximized.
where will the course take place?
Each class occurs on zoom or on this website. Simply log in and go to the lesson page. Or, alternatively, you can watch the recording of the class once it is completed and posted.
can anyone attend this course?
This is an open-registration course. You do not need to have any prior formal education in the law to take this course.
